8-AWG Copper XHHW cable has yellow polypropylene jacket to withstand harsh environmental conditions. The 45-mil cross-linked polyethylene insulation resists electrical leakage and offers protection against environmental threats. It has outside diameter of 232 mil. It has current rating of 40-Amps at 60 deg C/50-Amps at 75 deg C/55-Amps at 90 deg C and voltage rating of 600-Volts. It withstands temperature rating of 90 deg C. It is ideal for use in general-purpose wiring, power distribution/branch circuit wiring and low leakage circuits. This 500-ft cable comes in a spool/reel. Cable is UL listed, CSA certified and meets ICEA S-95-658/NEMA WC-70, A-A-59544 standards.
