Burndy Hylug™ 1-Hole Uninsulated compression lug features electrolytic copper construction and electro-tin plating to resist corrosion. Lug of length 1.1-inches, has short chamfered barrel of size 0.21-Inch OD x 0.39-Inch. Barrel comes with an inspection window to verify full conductor insertion. It accommodates stranded conductor of size #14-#10 and solid conductor of size #12-#10. It is suitable for use with copper conductors. The straight ring tongue of this lug has dimension of 0.47-Inch x 0.05-Inch. It is well suited for high voltage applications up to 600-Volts – 35-Kilo-Volts. Lug has stud size of 1/4-Inch and strip length of 7/16-Inch. It withstands temperature rating of 90 deg C. Compression lug is UL listed, CSA certified and RoHS compliant.

Its seamless design also accommodates solid conductors. Double thick tongue provides a strong connector for demanding applications requiring high reliability. Applications include: industrials, hospitals, electric utilities, aircraft, shipboard and marine, steel mills, computers, mining equipment and other equipment subject to vibration. HYLUG Type YAV provides maximum conductivity, low resistance and excellent ductility. Seamless tubular crimp barrel has no seams to split for a very high quality electrical connection. Extra copper material assures the compression connector operates cooler than the conductors it connects. Internally bevelled barrel provides easy cable entry, especially for flexible conductors. Inspection hole provides visual check for proper conductor insertion. Nickel plating available, add -NK suffix.
